Memory Cafes provide opportunities to meet others and share information while reducing social isolation and stigma. At The Gathering Place, the focus is on having fun and spending time together. As one guest said, “It’s a gift for us to be together.”

The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month from noon to 2 p.m. in Lile Hall at Christ Church, 561 Springfield Ave., Summit. Upcoming gatherings are scheduled for November 4 and December 2, 2026.

The program is nonsectarian, and all are welcome. A light, nutritious lunch is provided, with a suggested donation of $5 per person.

To help organizers plan enough lunch, RSVP to Brenda Dodds at 908-273-5549 or brenda@ccsnj.org.
